I've been spending a lot of spare time working on various websites ideas swimming around my head. It would be great to have the time to fully immerse myself in them. Krakatou.com is always a work in progress, but I have finished my YouTube account intregration. It is all currently hidden away behind the scenes. My code looks at my personal YouTube account for keywords in the titles of my videos and will activate a new section of the site when found. So with the the pending arrival of our first child and the announcement if we have a boy of girl, seems a good event to give it a whirl on. So watch this space...
I try to write my code here so that I don't need to login to edit content. Most of the content is completely automated from various social networking sites. The photo gallery is generated by me dumping a new folder of pictures via FTP on the server. The website then takes care of image views, user comments all by itself, how kewl is that!?
At another site, that isn't yet live, I have developed a user database and login system, with events calendar for my Explorer Scout unit with the aim to help us leaders deliver information quicker and easier to the group. My aim there is to create a safe online photo sharing and mini social networking site.
5 weeks and counting

We have about 5 weeks until our first baby is due. I think we have everything we could possibly need plus some bits we probably don't need. Steph finishes work at the end of this week. Family and friends can come here to see how we are getting on.
